Numerous reports have highlighted that significant proportions of the creative industry sector are facing a skills shortage, with not enough graduates with the right skills, and that this skills gap is a huge barrier to the sector’s future growth.
MyWorld’s skills and training are using academic and industry knowledge to create a talent pool ahead of the market. Instilling the knowledge to understand and embrace technical advances, and to lead innovation, equipping people with the confidence to turn creative ideas into scalable and sustainable businesses. A carefully curated mix of academic courses, provided by MyWorld’s university partners, and short courses focused on specific industry skills, will not only seek to create a workforce ready to advance the sector but one which is more diverse and inclusive.
